His life and work are examined in a 60 page illustrated essay by Eva & Donat Kirsch, placing them in historical and art history context, followed by a selection of works with commentary by the artist. That commentary gives a first view of the artists idiosyncratic ideology that is explained in more detail in the last part of the book, 'Zermatism.'
