"As such it makes an excellent source of reference for those involved in paediatric advanced life support . . . I would recommend this book to any health professional likely to encounter an emergency situation." (Emergency Nurse, 1 October 2012)

"Practitioners are given an easily digestible and portable text focusing on emergency situations involving children and care provision . . . "As a PALS regional faculty instructor for the American Heart Association, I feel this U.K. book accurately reflects the revised PALS guidelines and meets its intent to serve as a pocket-sized guide for pediatric life support." (Doody's, 10 August 2012)
