Autorenporträt

Ayano Morio was born in Aichi, Japan. After studying oil painting at Musashino Art University, she made a debut as a cartoonist in 1982 in the monthly comic magazine "Be Love" (Kodansha). She published many fictional cartoon stories in which conflicts or worries of women and children were described. Recently she has switched over to a career in non-fiction cartoons and published biographies of unique characters in Japanese history and the financial world.

Witziges Investment

Als Elfjähriger hatte er seine ersten Aktien, mit 14 Jahren verdiente er bereits 175 Dollar pro Woche. Heute wird sein Vermögen auf etwa 36 Milliarden Dollar geschätzt. Über Warren Buffetts Erfolgsgeschichte lachen die wenigsten. Jetzt kann man wenigstens darüber schmunzeln. Die japanische Cartoonistin Ayano Morio erzählt das Leben des weltweit erfolgreichsten Investors einmal anders: als Comic. Die englischen Texte sind leicht zu lesen, die Illustrationen sind witzig. Auch der Lernwert des Comics ist nicht zu unterschätzen: "Don't invest in businesses you don't understand" - Investiere nur in Geschäfte, die du verstehst.
