This dissertation looks at how the coming out process of urban lesbians, gays, and bisexual men and women affects their religious practices. Particular behaviors examined were religious attendance in a church setting, private religious practices like praying, and intrinsic religiosity. Anthony Miner completed his dissertation in 2009 and has subsequently graduated from Alliant International University in 2010. He has worked for several years in community mental health and aspires to open a private practice in the San Francisco Bay Area in the years to come.
