Diane Puckett is a retired school teacher who loves walking with her grandchildren in Ft. Flagler State Park in Washington. Charli sowed the seeds of this book when she was three and told Diane that she had been a baby deer when she was little. Janice Ryan lives near the Puget Sound with her husband Jim, peanut-greedy blue jays, and an unruly garden.
