Rajulk finds romance with a native woman and bonds with a Roman soldier. Lovencroft Smithe, finds a replacement for a lost son. The reader will encounter Barabbas whose relationship to Jesus is more involved than depicted in the Gospels, and one of the lesser disciples who had a much greater role in the story of Jesus. Returning briefly to the third millennium, the time travelers journey once again through time back to Biblical Judea to resolve once and for all the issues remaining from the first mission concerning the Gospels. Only then do they discover the intrusion by inhabitants of another timeline.
