Candace Bushnell ist Autorin des Bestsellers "Sex and the City", der Vorlage für die weltberühmte TV-Kultserie. Bushnells Romane "Sex and the City", "Lipstick Jungle", "Raufschlafen" und "One Fifth Avenue" haben sich international millionenfach verkauft. "The Carrie Diaries" erzählen die Vorgeschichte von Carrie Bradshaw. Irina von Bentheim moderierte jahrelang bei Radiosendern wie RIAS 2 und RBB. Als deutsche Stimme von Carrie Bradshaw aus "Sex and the City" wurde sie als Synchronsprecherin bekannt. Ihre Stimme leiht sie u.a. Naomi Watts. Irina von Bentheim ist Sprecherin der DAV-Hörbücher "Sex and the City" von Candace Bushnell sowie "Vom Umtausch ausgeschlossen" von Sophie Kinsella.
