Pam Henderson, PhD is an author, former faculty atCarnegie Mellon University, entrepreneur and recognizedspeaker. She invented Opportunity Thinking(TM), a creativeapproach to innovation that has transformed the way companies andorganizations, from Fortune 500 to non-profits, find big ideas thatwin and create sustainable growth. She speaks internationally and publishes widely on marketinsight, business and innovation strategy, and design and has beenrecognized in the Harvard Business Review, WallStreet Journal, and on NPR. Pam is co-founder and CEO of NewEdge, a growth, strategy anddesign firm that uses the Opportunity Thinking(TM) methodologyto create sustainable growth for companies across industries suchas John Deere, Pepsico, Dupont and The North Face. Prior to New Edge, Pam worked with the national laboratorysystem and Washington State University to commercialize early-stagetechnologies.
