Ross F. Collins rossfcollins.com/photography Collins is a professor of communication at North Dakota State University (NDSU), Fargo, U.S.A., where he teaches photography, media history, writing, editing, publication design, and other media-related classes. A former newspaper photojournalist and freelancer, his photography has been published in a wide variety of books, newspapers, and magazines, including The New York Times and Best of Photography Annual. He has also shown his work in national, regional, and local art shows and exhibits. Collins holds a Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge, UK, and in the academic world has published five books and about two dozen scholarly monographs and articles. He is incoming president of the American Journalism Historians Association (AJHA). Keith Greenwood keithgreenwood.net Greenwood is an associate professor in the Missouri School of Journalism at the University of Missouri, U.S.A. He teaches multimedia, photojournalism history, and graduate seminars in the role of photography in society and research methods. His professional media career includes work at radio stations and as a freelance photographer, web and publication designer, and video editor. His research explores how people and topics are presented in news photographs, and how news organizations adopt technological innovations. He has published articles in Visual Communication Quarterly, the International Communication Gazette, Journalism Studies, and Journalism Practice. He holds an M.A. from Michigan State University (MSU) and a Ph.D. from the University of Missouri.
