Produktbeschreibung
Migration is the distinguishing feature of the present globalized world and plays an increasingly significant role in relation to basic social foundations such as cultural production. The appearance of the literature of migration is the manifestation of this impact and is usually studied as the sub-branch of postcolonial literature because it shares the postcolonial focus on the marginal groups of every society, which are the migrants here. The study of the general framework of migration literature shows that the past ethnic morals, cultural traditions or the happy memories of the lost fatherland are not highlighted in this type of literature. Rather, the protagonist of the migrant work endlessly recreates itself in its daily encounters with the new forms of social life it is experiencing in the new environment. Goli Taraghi is the Persian migrant author, living in France, and her works are frequently labeled as the migrant literature. The present research aims to approve the fact that Taraghi's characters live in the world of past memories and most of her stories describe the events through a nostalgic lens which excludes her works from the circle of migration literature.
