Objetivou-se avaliar a morfologia e a partição de fitomassa do feijão Vigna, cv. BRS Marataoã, quando submetido a estratégias de manejo da irrigação em função da época de indução do déficit hídrico nos diferentes estádios fenológicos da cultura e doses de adubação potássica. The statistical design was used in randomized block, in a 5 x 5 factorial scheme, with three repetitions, and the treatments were defined as a function of five doses of potassium fertilization (50, 75, 100, 125 and 150% of K2O) associated with five management strategies defined as a function of the period of induction of water deficit in different phenological stages of beans BRS Marataoã. The application of water deficit at flowering favors the growth and accumulation of phytomass of Vigna bean with recovery of the plants after suspension of the stress. Increasing doses of potassium when associated with water deficit at flowering and fruiting compromised the number of pods and length of pods of Vigna beans. In the initial phases of the development of the BRS Marataoã bean, water deficit can be used in its cultivation with the least losses in the production components.
