Also, attention to water as one of the fundamental components of sustainable development and achieving its goals is essential. As a result, precise and rational planning and management to utilize water resources is necessary for economic and social development, reducing poverty, and improving justice. From this perspective, in this book, we will state the external and internal issues of the water sector that are involved in the planning of water resources in the Mashhad plain, the second large industrial area in Iran, and present practical strategies and policies.

Seyedahmad Hosseini (MSc), que se graduó en la Universidad de Teherán (2010) en el campo de los recursos hídricos, trabaja ahora en cooperación con el Instituto de Investigación de Políticas Hídricas de Irán (IWPRI) como investigador senior. Seyedahmad investiga en temas interdisciplinarios relacionados con el campo de la gestión del agua, entre otros, la ética del agua y la historia del agua.
