Produktbeschreibung
Luapula province is not an exception with its population to depend on natural resources, just like globally, millions of people depend on the natural resources based goods and services. Land/agriculture, water bodies and forestry provide livelihoods that are of great importance in the wellbeing of the local people. Most of the local populations in the districts of Luapula highly depend on three livelihoods namely: agriculture, fisheries and forest. Although natural resources based livelihoods are most productive and biologically diverse environments, they are also one of the most ecologically sensitive and the people who depend on them for food and income are more vulnerable. The current era of rapid anthropogenic-driven climate change has the potential to undermine natural resources associated livelihoods.
