This book can help Master students, researchers, and humanitarians of the 21st century from different countries to gain insights on the practicalities of dealing with actors in the field to transform conflicts, promote peace and build resilient communities. The book focuses on addressing issues of religious conflicts on the field in Moro and vulnerable areas in Philippines, linking peacebuilding on the field with existing peace and conflict theories. It portrays the outcomes of peacebuilding based on the challenges faced by vulnerable groups including Internally displaced Persons IDPs from Marawi, Tukuran Moro and Christian communities in Mindanao. It clearly links theory to practice and active peace with clear recommendations of interest based on my experiences as an intern in Voluntary service Overseas (VSO) Philippines. It seeks to find ways on how to transform the perceptions of actors in conflict most especially the Moro and Christian communities towards peace by peaceful means. It informs that vulnerable and Moro communities are victims of issues on conflict and natural disaster, a twin problem for morethan 40 years in Mindanao Philippines.
