This work is an attempt to show that despite many positive endeavours in Cameroon from the powers that be as well as private institutions and ordinary Cameroonians for the welfare of Cameroon and its people, poverty is persisting in an omnipotent and omnipresent manner. In this connection, it is discernible at the social, economic, moral, spiritual, psychological, industrial and other levels. All Cameroonians should work together meticulously and in a streamlined manner so as to alleviate it else it would become very chronic or unmanageable.
