Jizhou Z Pedersen is an attorney practicing law in Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania. She worked for a major international law firm for more than a decade and represented numerous Chinese and international clients in the United States. Pedersen is a graduate of Xiamen University in China and the J. Reuben Clark Law School at Brigham Young University. She was previously an adjunct law professor at Dickinson School of Law. Her first novel, "The Red Mushroom's Wrath," was published in 2012 and was awarded Publisher's Book of the Year. This is her second biographical novel and is being published initially in Mandarin for wider circulation throughout Asia and America.
