Magnetic films are the subject of active researches because of their unique properties and various practical application. Produktbeschreibung
Magnetic films are the subject of active researches because of their unique properties and various practical application. It is well known that the tensor of the magnetic anisotropy may have non-zero non-diagonal components. This may potentially lead to the realization of complex magnetic structures with non-trivial distribution of the magnetization. This book is an attempt to summarize the results of theoretical investigations of the systems with inclined single-ion anisotropy. We describe the results obtained during the researches of the phase states and of the elementary excitations in the two-dimensional systems with strong single-ion anisotropy. These results become especially interesting with the account of the wide practical application of the systems with the inclined single-ion anisotropy.
Autorenporträt
The authors have been engaged in theoretical researches of the magnetic systems for more than 15 years already. Their recent activity is related with the investigation of the two-dimensional magnetic systems with complex anisotropic interactions. Such systems are promising as the media for high density information storage devices.
