Some of the rural areas of Myanmar have still lack of electricity from national grid lines. As the Republic of the Union of Myanmar is blessed with abundant solar energy resources, a techno-economic analysis of photovoltaic power supply systems is described in this book. In this qualitative analysis explores and describes the probability of adoption photovoltaic power supply systems for Magway region based on technical, financial and environmental parameters. After simulation and optimization, the different kinds of photovoltaic power supply systems, the best optimum system configuration according to the net present cost is obtained. As the results, Magway Region can adopt and use standalone photovoltaic system (SPVS) for rural electrification purpose in an economically viable way.

Elle a obtenu son doctorat (énergie renouvelable) en janvier 2012. Elle travaille actuellement comme professeur au département de génie électrique, Université technologique (Hmawbi), Myanmar. Elle a terminé de nombreux travaux de recherche liés aux systèmes d'énergie renouvelable depuis 2012. Actuellement, ses recherches portent sur les micro-réseaux basés sur les énergies renouvelables au Myanmar.
