Autorenporträt
Kelly Paulgaard is the mother of a trucker and grandmother of a boy who loves trucks and books. It occurred to her that there were many books for children about trucks but few about the truckers. She was inspired by her son's travels across Canada and the United States as a long-haul trucker and the many truckers she saw going by her home near to the trans Canada highway. Kelly lives with her husband Neil and their dog Simon on a farm near to Wolseley, Saskatchewan. She is an avid reader, sewer of bags and quilts, and volunteer team leader for the international charity Days for Girls. This is her first book.
