M.E. Chidiac is a freelance wildlife photographer and self-proclaimed safari junkie and holds numerous certificates in wildlife-related subjects. She grew up in the islands of the Florida Keys and later left a career as a hotelier for the savannahs and bush of Africa. Although M.E. has lived in Dubai for over twenty years, she considers her "office" to be the African wilderness. For almost two decades, M.E. has photographed African wildlife in their natural surroundings. A skilled observer in her ongoing study of wildlife behaviors with a keen interest in birds, she uses this knowledge to refine her photography and to teach others. M.E. is the author of Safari Savvy, the first in a series of unique and informative word search puzzlebooks. She is also the author of Cooking African: The Discovered Cuisine, and coauthor of Those Were the Days: The Life & Times of a Florida Keys Fishing Guide.
