Agricultural engineering is applied in a better ways to explore physical and biological sciences, natural resources for production, handling, processing and storage of food. It involves design, development, testing, manufacturing, distribution, marketing and repair of all agricultural tools, implement, machines, equipment which are used in mechanizing agricultural operation with main objective of taking agriculture to greater height in Adamawa state, Nigeria. This book is therefore written primarily for small-scale farmers and entrepreneur in agricultural mechanization, to motivate youth back to land by transferring drudgery and fatigue from human being to machines and increasing profit margin in farm business. It will raise the productivity of human labour and in the face of prevailing economic meltdown, human and social realities especially in Adamawa state. The interesting thing is to advise the government to established agro-processing industries.
Autorenporträt
L'auteur, Daniel Adamu Mada, est originaire de la zone de gouvernement local de Madagali, dans l'État d'Adamawa. Il est titulaire d'une licence en ingénierie agricole de l'université de Maiduguri. Il a travaillé de 1985 à 2007 à l'ADP de l'Adamawa, à Yola. Il suit actuellement un programme de maîtrise en ingénierie (énergie et machines agricoles) au MAUTECH, à Yola.
