Autorenporträt
Barry Eidlin is Assistant Professor of Sociology at McGill University, Canada. He is the author of Labor and the Class Idea in the United States and Canada (2018) and has published research in many esteemed journals, including the American Sociological Review, Politics & Society, Labor Studies Journal and Sociology Compass, amongst others. He has also written for broader audiences in various media outlets such as the Washington Post and Jacobin Magazine. Michael A. McCarthy is Associate Professor of Sociology at Marquette University, USA. His book, Dismantling Solidarity: Capitalist Politics and American Pensions since the New Deal (2017) was awarded the Paul Sweezy Book Award by the American Sociological Association. His research has been published at Annual Review of Sociology, Critical Historical Studies, Labor Studies Journal, Socio-Economic Review, and Work & Occupations. He is also a regular contributor at Jacobin Magazine.
