This work aims at finding the factors which predisposes women who have attained menopause (in Nigeria) to the risk of developing hypertension. Factors such as Body Mass Index(BMI), Waist-hip ratio, percentage body compositions, family history, physical activity levels etc were obtained from subjects and analysed to determine their relationship to the risk of developing hypertension.The findings obtained showed a significant association between the aforementioned factors and the risk of developing hypertension in these women.
