Rachel Pieh Jones is the author of Stronger than Death: How Annalena Tonelli Defied Terror and Tuberculosis in the Horn of Africa. She has written for the New York Times, Christian Science Monitor, Huffington Post, Runners World, and Christianity Today on topics such as expatriate parenting, cultural imperialism, distance running, and the role of women in African society.
