The properties of these materials depend on the method of preparation and deposition conditions maintained during the growth of the film. This book restrains the optimized conditions of pure silver oxide (Ag2O) copper doped silver oxide (Ag2Cu2O3 and Ag2Cu2O4) thin films formed on p-type silicon and glass substrates using RF reactive magnetron sputtering technique, and investigated their structure and surface morpholoigy, composition, electrical and optical properties. The promising approach to prepare good quality of single phase Ag2O films for electrode in micro battery applications and the Ag-Cu-O films for gassensors, solar cells and antibacterial was clearly discussed in this book.
