Over a decade of marriage, Rex discovers that his marriage has come to an end like his fathers. While Rex cannot stop history from repeating itself, he does decide to stay a part of his daughter's lives after a two year divorce. During the divorce, Rex decides to search for his long lost father. He locates his father in 2010, only to discover that his father has passed away in 1999 of throat cancer. Then Rex learns that because his father died alone, the state of Texas buried his body in an unmarked grave. For the next eight years Rex struggles to work full time, be a non custodial parent, and try to find the legal proof that his father served in World War II. With the help of a famous U. S. Senator, Rex finds the proof he needs. After eight years Rex is able to get a $10,000 personal bank loan so he can bring his father's remains home to Ohio from Dallas, Texas. On January 08, 2019 Rex is finally reunited with his father at a freight terminal at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. Less than forty eight hours later Rex had to say goodbye to his father. On January, 10 2019, Rex gives his father a proper burial with full military honors at Western Reserve National Cemetery. The following weekend news of what Rex did for his father made the front page of newspapers around the country. His book is an attempt to show the importance of a father in a child's life and also the importance loving, forgiving and honoring our parents.

Rex Beach has worked for over twenty five years at a grocery store called Giant Eagle. He lives in Canton, Ohio which is the birthplace of tht National Football League.

Rex is of the few people in the world who can say that they got stuck in the Dead Sea during a pilgrimage.

After a long divorce in 2009, Rex decided to look for his father. In 2010 he found him through Ancestry. Com. Sadly, his father died in 1999 of cancer.

For nine years Rex fought to bring his father's remains home from an unmarked grave in Dallas, Texas. With the help of a famous U S. Senator, Rex was reunited with his dad on January 08, 2019, and have him buried with full military honors.

Rex hopes to retire one day and pursue his passion of research, helping others and making people laugh.

Rex also plans on writing a book about the power of music to heal divorced families.
