Regional and national aspects of these methods have distinctive features with regard to nature-conservative measures, law in force, traditions, etc. At the same time the construction types of soil bioengineering have a lot of common and that is why the translation of terms into different languages is of great importance for specialists and experts. The aim of this issue is generalization of main terms and meanings of soil bioengineering in English, Russian, German, French, Italian, Portuguese and Spain. It can be useful for forestry professionals, landscaping specialists, water managers, environmental engineers, and environmental protection experts, professionals in linguistics and comparative typology. His scientific interests are soil bioengineering, selection of forest and fruit species.
