Instead he wanted them to appear in exhibitions and museums. In 1993 his first book Retratos (Portraits) was published and in it the two worlds of Marcos López were seen clearly: the excesses of Buenos Aires in the eighties compared with the modesty and flowered wallpaper of Santa Fe.
