Presenting the underlying theory of quantum-state manipulation, this book is ideal for researchers and graduate students. It provides the equations, and approaches for their solution, which can be applied to complicated multilevel quantum systems. It shows how quantum changes can be displayed graphically to demonstrate how they can be controlled.
