The present investigation was carried out to study the magnitude of per se performance, heterosis and combining ability for fruit yield, its related component traits and quality in tomato. The experimental material consisting of 11 parents (3 females and 8 males), its 24 hybrids produced through Line × Tester mating design and standard check (Abhinav). The experiment was laid out in a randomized block design with 3 replications at Regional Horticultural Research Station, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari, during late kharif 2015.
