Yet, the hospitality industry has been recognised in economics literature to be a means of redistributing income and earning foreign currency in Nigeria. Thus, this work sets contribute to research literature in this areaby developing and validating a theoretical model of knowledge management (KM)adoption in hospitality businesses in Nigeria. Concepts principally from developmental studies, technology acceptance model (TAM) and Hofstede's culture model have been used to develop the major constructs considered relevant for this study which are developmental factors, information technology perceptions, culture and intention to adopt KM.
