Realizing the social and health implications of alcohol dependence on the addicts, especially the young generation, their families, and friends, government agencies have launched several alcohol recovery treatments and programs. The present study, therefore, aims at evaluating the efficiency of this program through the comprehension of its impact on reducing alcoholism in society. The study offers valuable insight into self-management programs and further highlights recommendations and future direction of research in this domain.
