So far, specially in developing country selection suitable hydro power potential sites is so much crud and was not scientific based. Currently, by using geographic Information system and supplementary hydrologic models we are able to select potentially and economically feasible hydro power sites have been selected by considering sound factors, which affect hydro power site selection thoroughly. So in this book a lot of scientifically advanced techniques were applied to investigate hydro power sites and realistically feasible sites also recorded. Despite the validation process between the (observed head and simulated head by using focal statistics tool of GIS), (observed discharge and grid based simulated discharge) requires intensive investigation, the over all output is so much impressive.

Soy de África (Etiopía). Desde 2014 soy profesor en la Universidad de Woldia (Etiopía) y desde 2018 soy profesor en la Universidad de Defensa (Etiopía). Obtuve la licenciatura en Ingeniería de Riego en la Universidad de Ciencia y Tecnología de Adama (Etiopía) y la maestría en Ingeniería Hidráulica en el Instituto Tecnológico de Bahir Dar (Etiopía).
