Through education programs, exhibitions, special events and its collections, it offers a chance to connect with the heritage of Queens. It focuses on the neighborhoods of the independent city of Long Island City (1870-1898): Steinway, Astoria Village, Ravenswood, Dutch Kills, Hunters Point, Sunnyside and Blissville.
