The warm smell of nighttime fires; of carved pumpkins, burning mountains of fallen leaves, and the sulphur scents of fireworks exploding in the night. I read my poetry at many events and one of major pieces of feedback I received was that people were fascinated to hear was the story behind the haiku. P.J. Reed is a fantasy writer and poet from England. She holds a BAEd from Canterbury Christ Church University, an MA from Bradford University, and has dabbled in psychology with the OU. She lives in Devon with two daughters and Rupert the rescue dog.
