Born in Embu, Kenya in 1960. Taught for 17 years in four high schools, two as headteacher. Academic qualifications include Bachelors science degree, Postgraduate diploma in education, Masters in Education Management and PhD in education , Durham University UK. Currently,the Deputy Secretary General, Kenya National Commission for UNESCO.
