The findings of this work avail readers the opportunity to understand what these resources are, what factors could help their efficient management as well as the examination of the profiles of farmers in the study area. The empirical approach in the analysis of these factors gives credence to the results presented in this book.

I have a PhD in Agricultural Extension and Rural Sociology from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria. I am happily married to Sarah with three lovely children. Presently, I lecture in the Department of Agricultural Extension and Communication, University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Nigeria. My research interest is Sociology of Development
