Autorenporträt
Richard Murphy has followed the fortunes of the England cricket team ever since being hooked as a schoolboy watching Ian Botham take on Australia in 1981. The ride has been interesting and diverse--from being a nocturnal student listening to long wave radio coverage from New Zealand to sitting at Edgbaston during the remarkable Ashes Test in 2005. Richard, who has written a range of articles on sport and books about Stoke City Football Club, lives in Barlaston in Staffordshire.
