Produktbeschreibung
Echoes in the Walls is the ridiculous but true story of one family selling a new house in a lovely neighborhood to chase an old dream-renovating a century home. The fantastical dreams and hopes begin to fade immediately. The newer home sells the first day it is listed on the market, giving them just ninety days to convert a decrepit, should-have-been-bulldozed, pre-civil war home into a habitable place to raise a family. Never could they foresee the obstacles they would encounter; bats in the attic, skeletons in the cellar, raccoons in the bedroom, and an infinite amount of projects gone hopelessly awry. The remodeling problems, deadlines and issues will drive them to the brink of insanity, unify them in ways they could never envisioned, and remind them humor is still the best medicine. Echoes in the Walls dares readers to take a chance on change and to wear life's bruises proudly. (Before and After pictures are included for reader enjoyment and visualization.)
