You wait for me at night In the most hidden area of my mind. You throw yourself into my being. You are looking with passion, And you find All the secrets of my life To fill your life with mine. Although Daniel Garcia has seen his share of physical struggles throughout his lifetime, he has learned to navigate through his challenges as a disabled person who not just sees all that is wrong with our society and the world around him, but also what is good, pure, and beautiful. In his first volume of poems, Daniel reflects on our society, education system, love, war, and his own obstacles. While exploring all of the good and bad that accompanies a full life, Daniel encourages all of us to think about and reflect on our own existences, struggles, and our acceptance of others despite our differences or disabilities. Disabled? Disabled! Disabled is a diverse collection of verse that reflects on the world through the eyes of a fresh voice in poetry.
