Autorenporträt
Darlene Machtan is a daughter, a wife, a sister, a teacher, and a writer. Her experience coping with the caregiving of her father is one many others have had or will have. She has published a companion memoir, Conversations With My Mother, as well as three poetry chapbooks. She lives in Northern Wisconsin with her husband, three dogs, and countless memories of her father.
