Just over a year after publishing his first book "Meet Me at the Sun", Nikolas Honoré has returned with "A Thousand Miles Too Frail," in which 40 new poems are split into four "acts" (much like a play or script); each of these acts has its own feel and sensation, whilst simultaneously pointing to the next act and flowing as a collective work. Dealing with topics such as new beginnings, travel, unexpected change, moving on, and dealing with lingering pain and trauma and trying to find closure in it, "A Thousand Miles Too Frail" challenges "Meet Me at the Sun" with its vivid imagery, emotional evocations, and unbridled passion.
