Derek Blyth is a writer and a journalist, originally from the UK, who has lived in Brussels for more than 30 years and has explored almost every corner of the city on foot and by bike. He likes to drink coffee at Monk, buy croissants at Renard and drink a Poperings Hommelbier at Moeder Lambic. Formerly editor-in-chief of the Brussels English-language weekly The Bulletin, he has written several books on the Low Countries.
