Her research focuses on feminist theory (particularly psychoanalysis), space, place, gender and sexuality in contemporary literature.  Claire O'Callaghan teaches English at Brunel University, UK, and her research focuses on gender and sexuality in contemporary literature and culture, feminist theory, and neo-Victorianism.
