Jakob Strobel y Serra, geb. 1966, studierte Spanisch und Geschichte in Berlin und Sevilla, arbeitete als Journalist in Spanien und Mexiko und kam 1993 zur Frankfurter Allgemeinen Zeitung. Seit 1997 ist er Redakteur im FAZ Reiseblatt. Dort kümmert er sich unter anderem um die spanischsprachigen Länder.
