The author, Dr. Chaman Singh Thakur, hails from Nahan district, Himachal Pradesh, India. The author is a multifaceted personality, active on many profiles including lyricist, musician, singer, poet, litterateur, editor, skilled speaker, social reformer, teacher, educationist, philosopher, environmentalist. Presently the author is working as Principal in a prestigious college located in Jammu & Kashmir. Dr. Chaman writes in the genres of folklore, song-ghazal, poetry, story, travelogue and diary. Apart from this, Dr. Chaman is the founder and president of Manav-Nirman Mission. The author is running tree plantation programs in various states of India to save the environment from pollution and has established a new record by planting thousands of trees since 1995.
