This book presents comprehensive bioethical issues that the UNESCO International Bioethics Committee as an international body in standard setting in the field of bioethics, has contributed to global bioethics. The International Bioethics Committee (IBC) of UNESCO, is a body of 36 independent experts that follows progress in the life sciences and its applications in order to ensure respect for human dignity and freedom.
