Fortunately, Chadwick's mother hears a story of a witch on a voyage that may be able to cure Chadwick's disease and thus they embark on a cruise to find her. On this cruise, Chadwick may find yet another unlikely companion who may also share a secret of her own and see that beyond the supernatural one can still find the unlikeliest of romance.

He grew up in West Virginia and had a special lens especially when looking through life. This lens has led Joseph to different realizations in life and ultimately made him into the man he is today. Joseph has always been fascinated by the supernatural and chose a cruise to be the setting of the book because it held significance in his heart.
