"Magic: A Fantastic Comedy" by G. K. Chesterton Chesterton's classic three-act fantasy play. This play was originally presented under the management of Kenelm Foss at The Little Theatre, London, on November 7, 1913. It is the story of a Duke's "nephew" and "niece" and the problem of faith versus "reality." The catalyst is a magician who nearly drives the Duke's nephew into madness with his magic versus reality position vis a vis the niece and her fascination with the world of fairies and Celtic mysticism.
