Soul-searching poems such as "For Weak Saints," or "Strong as Death," are mixed in with comical poems such as "The Slime Monster" and "Buyer's Remorse," and science-themed musings such as "Proprioception" and "Multiverse." Musical poetry such as "Swell and Fade" or "Fiddle Dum And Fiddle Dee" meets 'meta' poetry such as "Four Lines" and "The Art of Trying." Poems take a variety of forms, including sonnet, free-verse, haiku, and rhyming verse. Readers will encounter frosty winter poems in January and reflective Easter poems in spring, as they are taken full circle through the seasons.
